Purpose of the Council
Global Economic and Legal Cooperation Council (GELCC)
The Global Economic and Legal Cooperation Council is a non-profit international organization dedicated to promoting global economic governance and cross-border legal coordination. The aim of this council is to achieve the rule of law, standardization, and inclusive development of global economic governance by building a dialogue platform, promoting the integration of rules, and strengthening capacity building.
Promote the legalization and standardization of global economic governance
Promote the establishment of a fair, transparent, and stable international economic and legal environment, and support the improvement of the multilateral trading system and global financial order.
Strengthen cross-border legal coordination and cooperation
To address legal conflicts and regulatory differences in areas such as cross-border trade, investment, digital economy, and sustainable development, promote international rule integration and policy dialogue.
Serve the global supply of public goods
Through research, advocacy, and training, we aim to assist the international community in addressing common challenges such as climate change, tax evasion, financial risks, and intellectual property protection.
Empowering the legal capacity building of developing countries
Provide legal and technical assistance to emerging economies and countries undergoing economic transition, enhancing their institutional capacity to participate in global economic governance.
Advocate for inclusivity and sustainable economic development
Promote the integration of values such as human rights, environmental protection, and social justice into the international economic legal framework, and realize the humanistic care of economic globalization.
